Pressable is pleased to announce our sponsorship of WordCamp San Antonio 2016. As San Antonio’s managed WordPress hosting company, we are excited to support Central Texas’ biggest WordPress community event as organizers, speakers and sponsors of WordCamp San Antonio 2016.
It takes several ingredients to make a successful WordCamp: a passionate local community, engaged sponsors, dedicated volunteers and a slate of compelling topics, to name a few. WordCamp San Antonio 2016 has all of these ingredients and more. Our COO, Jeff Mulholland, has experienced this first hand as an organizer of WordCamp San Antonio 2016.
We are thrilled to have three of our team members presenting on a variety of engaging topics. Our CEO, Chris Lauzon, will share how the WordPress community can help new WordPress users overcome inevitable challenges. WordPress Support Technician Zach Charo will draw on his experience as a plugin reviewer to show how anyone can review a plugin or theme for their own blog. Finally, Claudia Charbel, our Director of Sales and Partnerships, will demonstrate how disengaged customers can be turned into promoters using real-life examples. We’re looking forward to catching these sessions, as well as several others, at WordCamp San Antonio 2016.
WordCamps are great opportunities to build connections with other community members. This is why we’re sponsoring an after party for all WordCamp San Antonio 2016 attendees. We’ll wrap up WordCamp San Antonio 2016 at Geekdom with a night of dancing, all-you-can-eat street tacos, local craft beer courtesy of Alamo Brewery, a WordPress photo booth and plenty of comradery. It’ll be an after party you won’t want to miss!
No WordCamp experience would be complete without a collection of WordPress swag, so we’ll have a Texas-sized collection of custom WordCamp San Antonio 2016 goodies available at the Pressable table.
